Destination:

Delegates of NASBT 09 will be visiting some states/cities in the United States of America as well as United Mexican States. These include New York, Boston, Pennsylvania, Washington, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Monterrey and Mexico City.

Duration of The Trip:

The trip will be held on 16th of May 2009 until 12th of June 2009.

Objectives:

NASBT 09 aims to primarily promote entrepreneurship amongst the Delegation. Delegates will be able to experience hands-on the various business environment and aspects of the countries they are visiting. The Delegation Team will also be exposed to the various cultural sites in order to appreciate the cultural heritage of host countries. Charity will also be done in those countries to assist the less privileged.

Delegation:

A Delegation Team of 24 will be chosen and selected from NUS students. There are no restrictions of the age, nationality, faculty/school, course of study and year of study. Graduate students are welcome to go too.

Criteria of Selection:

Delegates must show great passion in entrepreneurship and interest in cultural aspects of the host countries. Teamwork is emphasized since the Delegation Team will be living and working together for the whole journey of the Trip. Also, Delegates are required to carry themselves with utmost integrity since they are representing NUS BINGO as well as the University.

Estimated Expenditure:

As of time of posting, the whole Trip will cost approximately SGD6,000. This will cover the basic accommodation, return flight tickets, internal shuttle transportations, some of the meals and entrances tickets to places of interest. This amount is subjected to change as per sponsorship obtained by the Delegation Team.
